Welcome to the Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association, single, family, or club membership page. Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association is an organization that brings ATV clubs and individuals together on a monthly basis (2nd Thursday of the month) to discuss, help, and update the ATV community on State, County, Town, Village and Trail issues with in Region 6 and the surrounding area. Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association works with local, state, town, village, land owners, business owner and ATV'ers to help provide a safe and joyful ATV experience for all ages.

We work with Lewis Counties trail coordinator on trail development, mapping, advisement and planning of ATV trails. We help with the purchase of Private land owner insurance, Provide maps, Website listing & linking, advertising, Calendar of all your events, Support and Guidance in creating a sustainable trail system. We can even help with Grants for ATV clubs.

Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association advocates for ATV issues against the State and Department of Environmental Conservation at their UMP (Unit Management Plan) forums for state forest lands. We discuss trail connections and destinations with clubs and attend a wide array of County, Town and Village meetings in support of clubs connecting trails and destinations like hotels, restaurants and gas stations. We work very closely to link these trails together and create planned events. Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association sponsors Benefit rides through out the year for Trail Development to earn money for trail development and maintenance and the equipment to provide that maintenance.

Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association can provide individuals with the tools and support needed to start an ATV club also. Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association is one of the leaders in advocating for ATV rights, riding areas, and awareness for ATV'ers in New York State. If you have a club, or an individual or family that needs help or just wants to support the Outdoor Recreation of ATVing, then look no further. Join the Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association.

Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association membership runs from January 1st through December 31st. There is a $200 membership fee per club and for single individual or a family it is just $10. Money raised by the Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association is always put right back into ATVing, whether it be with such things as signage, wood, or the purchase of equipment or maintenance.

By joining our organization you will get a discount on your Lewis County OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLE (OHV) Trail Permit. You must show your valid membership card if you have already joined to get the discount at any of the participating businesses that sell permits or you can visit lewiscountyny.gov to join all at once. You will get over 30% off regular price. Your trail permit will now be only $45 for the first ATV and $20 for each addition in the same household.
